The basic steps to build a blog (Road to blogging)

Many newbie and enthusiasts of blogging use to ask many times about building a blog. I know it is very simple but if you are completely new in this field, then I guess you need to know all the basic requirements. Sorry for the pro bloggers because this will make you quite boring. Anyway, for the newbie, if you want to start blogging using the free blogs and free hosting, then blogspot is one of the best one. Register for an account in blogger.com and after that choose a blog name, after that you can start blogging. And if you want to have your own domain and blog, then you need to register a domain using registrar like namecheap or godaddy. After you have registered a domain, then the next step is where you will host your blog. If you prefer to host in a free hosting plan for the starting, then googling of “hosting page 1? will give a number of free hosting plans. You can host your blog in many reputed and effective hosting plans. This will cost nothing to you but there are many features that you will not get in the free hosting plans. If you prefer to use paid or premium hosting, then you need to buy paid hosting plan.
You will find different paid hosting plan and if you want to do some serious business, then you need to choose those hosting plans which are very effective and also affordable. And at the same time, it must have less down time. Most of the registrars do not charge more than $10 for a domain in a year and therefore you can easily afford this. The next step in the building in the blog is to install wordpress in your blog. A wordpress is a blogging and there are many other blogging script for building blogs. But the most popular and easy script is wordpress. Most of the blogs use wordpress to build blogs but some people prefer to use blogger. If you are hosting your blogs to a paid plan, then in most of the hosting plans there is fantastico through which you can automatically install the wordpress script in your blog. And if there is no fantastico in your hosting plan, then you have to install the wordpress manually. In this process, you have to upload the wordpress script in the host using FTP. You must be wondering what the FTP is. Well, FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is software which is used to upload or download files from your computer to the host or from the host to your computer. It is the interface of your host and the computer. There are two main FTP software which are commonly used are they Cute ftp and Smart ftp.
If you want to change a new theme of your wordpress blog, then you need to upload the theme to the host just inside the content/theme/. And if you want to edit the looks of your theme, then enter the admin panel of your blog using the command “/wp-admin” just after the URL of your blog. This will bring you to the admin panel or dashboard. And if you want to edit the theme, then you can go to the presentation tab. There you can choose a new theme for your blog which has already been uploaded into your wordpress script using FTP. And also you can edit your theme in this area. And then there is plugin which can enhance the looks and performance of your blog or them. You need to upload plugin also using FTP. After that, you need to activate plugin in your admin panel. Now I guess all the newbie will get some helps from this and you can start happy blogging now.
