Smorty Sucks - be Careful

I just want to share this article because this will help both bloggers and advertisers. I have experienced many blogging networks where advertising and bloggers connect through the dashboard system. (Note: This blog is not used for any blogging network with dashboard system). Recently, I noticed some changes in Smorty which is a small blogging network but in my knowledge it is best for the advertisers because they ask all the bloggers to keep their blog posts until forever.
Recently, there had been a DOS attack in my server and some of the databases have been deleted and therefore some of the blog posts have been lost from the blogs which are using for Smorty. After few days I noticed a warning message in my Smorty account saying that some of the payments has been kept on hold due to the lost of blog posts.
Well, most of the blog posts were more than one year old and therefore I didn’t try to recollect them as there is little importance for those blog posts in terms of SEO and also it is not valuable to the advertisers if the blog posts are more than one year old. Even some of the advertisers might have changed their business and no longer use their websites to promote their products and services.
But Smorty uselessly shows some strictness in their service and they trouble those unfortunate bloggers by holding their new payments. So, bloggers must take care while writing the offers from Smorty and it will be good if you put a database of your own by saving all the posts of Smorty using notepad. Smorty is such a small network for advertisers and bloggers and may be they do not want to leave bad impressions to their advertisers.
