Man throws shoes at Bush in Iraq

This is one of the rarest incidents and I couldn’t believe whether it was real or not even after I saw the video four - five times. Ex-president of US, George Bush came to Iraq in his fourth or might be final visit to Iraq to complete some works which he started during his presidency. But in the conference he was the lucky chap and the sole survivor of two shoes and the size of the shoes is reported to be number 10.

The man who threw shoes at George Bush is a journalist who is working in an Iraqi-owned TV station based in Cairo. Hearing the words he threw along with his shoes, he seems to be badly affected by the exercise George Bush started during his reign. The man is identified to be Muntadar al-Zeidi and before he threw the first shoe, he shouted “This is a farewell kiss, you dog” and then before he threw the second shoe, he shouted “This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq.”

But Bush was fast enough to duck and stay safe from the shoes attack. The shoes went by the side of the Bush’s head and hit the wall behind the president. And in the second shoes attack the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki tried to shied him. But at this moment, the president Barak Obama must be laughing like anything seeing the live telecast and the videos. But George Bush very beautifully addressed the situation and the incident after the incident was over.

I want to share the videos of Man throws shoes at Bush if you have missed the live telecast of the incident. Now let’s see what Bush exactly said after the incident:

“I didn’t feel the least bit threatened. That was a size-10 shoe he threw at me, you may want to know. So what if the guy threw his shoe at me? It’s one way to gain attention. It’s like going to a political rally and having people yell at you. It’s like driving down the street and having people not gesturing with all five fingers. There’s still more work to be done. The war is not over.”
