Khamnam’s Diary

When an individual enter the corporate world just after the completion of some degree or course must be facing some problems which vary from individual to individual. Well, experience in my first job (Maruti Suzuki) is quite interesting and it is a combination of both problems and excitement. I am kind of nocturnal since my college time I love working in night. But the department I joined (i.e., R&D) department does not have night shift. Now I am facing the problem of tight schedule in R&D and that also in day time.

The second problem is quite common to all the people who are far from the home town and who are progressively becoming far from the relatives. Now I hardly talk to the relatives (Obviously I use to talk to the family but not the distant relatives). I can visit my hometown only two times a year but that is not fair. Many terrible incidents happened around in the home when I was out of station without being noticed but under my nose (like Grandma passed away, Cousin expired, some critical accidents of cousins). Now I feel like I am stoned and emotionless as I am far from all these emotions and involvements. When I back home and came to know all these happened. I didn’t know how to reach to such situation and I feel awkward about this.

The stress level is another problem facing by many people who are in the software company. Even though I am in Mechanical core company, I have little stress problem. And even more important than the stress problem is that I use to sleep a lot when there is some presentation going on. I developed this behavior when I was there in the college and now this creates a lot of problem and even when there is a meeting of 4-5 people, I feel very sleepy. And also nowadays I couldn’t give much time in my personal life and sometimes I do not get time to think who I am.
