Tata Motors surprised the auto lovers with Tata Nano in the Auto Expo 2008 and this marked the turning point of Auto Expo festival. This Auto Expo will witness the launch of more than 15 new car models.

Maruti Suzuki is planning to display SX4 hatchback apart from the Eco friendly hybrid model of SX4 and Maruti Suzuki Eeco. But the hatchback model of SX4 is not for Indian market as the source said. Also Maruti Suzuki will display Suzuki Kizashi which is the US import Sedan. This will be the great attraction at the Auto Expo India 2010.

Mr. Dilip Chhabria’s plan is not less excited. He is planning to redesign the Tata Nano into a 1 crore worth car. The 623 cc engine of Tata Nano will be replaced by 1600 cc and double the speed into 200 km/hr. Also the design of the door will be something like Lamborghini or Ferrari type with gull wing configuration opening towards the sky. This will prove the capability of car designing in India.

Also Sportscar maker like BMW is also planning to showcase X6M and X1 at Auto Expo. Toyota will come up with their hatchback concepts and small car sedan at Auto Expo. Toyota Avanza will hopefully be launched at the Auto Expo 2010. Also Toyota Prius which is the most popular hybrid vehicle in Japan will be displayed at Auto Expo.

Not only the car makers will surprise the auto expo but the bike makers are also equally preparing to showcase their products, capability and new technology. Bajaj Auto KTM motorcycle is great news among the bike makers. Electric scooters, high power scooters and hybrid three wheelers will be the attractions of the people.
