If you do have personal mail server, then you must be using either Microsoft Outlook Express or Windows Mail to receive and send mails. Setting up the mail sever in Windows Mail or Microsoft Outlook Express is quite easy and it can be done by just following the simple steps. But after you have completed your Windows Mail step up and if you want to send mails to undisclosed recipients as you do not want the receivers to see others’ email addresses, then you need to follow some tricks and that is what I am going to share here.

It is not a rocket science to send an email to undisclosed recipients in Windows Mail but if you do not know the steps, it may be eating up your mind. Also I have come across many people asking “How to send an email to undisclosed recipients in Windows Mail” or “Steps for sending an email to undisclosed recipients in Windows XP mail, Windows Vista Mail”. Well, the fact is the step remains the same in any kind of Windows and I am going to answer your questions in steps:

Step 1: The first step is to create an address book entry for “Undisclosed recipients”

1. Open Windows Mail –> Select Tools –> Windows Contact
2. Click New Contact
3. Type “Undisclosed” (without quotes) in the first field
4. Type “recipients” under last field
5. Enter your own email address under E-mail
6. Done. Click OK

Step 2: Now send an email to undisclosed recipients in Windows Mail with the help of following steps

1. Click Create Mail (New Mail)
2. Now click in the address book icon which is with To:
3. Select your “undisclosed recipients” and then click To:->
4. Select all the other recipients to whom you want to send mails and click Bcc:->
5. Done. Click OK

Note: In the Bcc field, you can add any numbers of recipients and email address in Bcc will not be visible to any recipient but remember to separate each recipient by semicolons. And if you could not find Bcc, then click View in the “New Message” windows, and then click “All Headers”.

This is the simple steps for sending mail to recipients without showing the email addresses of other recipients (persons) using windows mail and I think this is a very useful tool in email marketing and email marketing is impossible without this feature. If you still have any question regarding email sending using windows mail, then we are here to help you.
