Sale of tickets for the 26 January 2012 Republic Day Parade at Rajpath and Beating Retreat Ceremony at Vijay Chowk will start at various venues in New Delhi from 23 January 2012 to 25 January 2012.
The price of tickets for the Republic Day Parade on 26th January 2012 will be Rs. 300/- and Rs 150/- for reserved seats and Rs. 50/- and Rs. 10/- for unreserved seats.
The tickets for the Beating Retreat Ceremony (Full Dress Rehearsal) on 28th January 2012 will be in the category of Rs. 50/- and Rs. 20/- respectively and will not have reserved seats.

Departmental Sale Counters – These counters are located at North Block round about, South Block round about, Pragati Maidan (Gate No. 1, Bhairon Road), Jantar Mantar (Main Gate), Shastri Bhawan (near Gate No. 1), India Gate (near Jamnagar House), Red Fort (near police picket) and Parliament House (Reception Office).

I have purchased Beating Retreat Tickets which mentions 28th January, 2012 but technically speaking it should be 29th January,2012. On 28th should be the Full Dress Rehearsal (FDR) of Beating Retreat but i want to get it clarified as the Officer on Special Duty (Sale of Tickets & Printing) is not picking up calls. I have tired getting in touch with him but nobody is receiving phone. Can someone suggest about this. I would also like to point of that if tickets are of FDR then the official should print it that way. There should be someone who should address to such confusion.
